The company was started in November 1982 and launched its first product, AIR CARGO NEWS in March 1983.
Air Cargo News is still number one in air cargo publishing and first choice for most advertisers in the air cargo business. Air Cargo Media offers quality products to the air cargo business in publishing, online and events.
In 2008, Air Cargo Media launched a quarterly magazine for the freighters market, titled FREIGHTERS WORLD and updated its website (www.aircargonews.net). This site has over 40,000 unique visitors per month and offers a daily news service.
Our events division has organised CARGO AIRLINE OF THE YEAR for the past 28 years and last year (2011) over 20,000 freight forwarding personnel placed their vote online, making this the OSCARS of the air cargo industry.
FREIGHTERS WORLD CONFERENCE has been held in Luxembourg, London Heathrow, Amsterdam, Dubai, Miami, Athens, Geneva, Istanbul and Barcelona and celebrated its 10th anniversary in April 2010 at the Lancaster London Hotel, which was the venue for 2011 in April. In 2012 the event will take place at the Jumeirah Frankfurt Hotel, Frankfurt, Germany in September.
