United Cargo to begin accepting new temperature controlled container

United Cargo has begun accepting the Envirotainer RAP e2 temperature-controlled container.
United can now transport the entire suite of Envirotainer’s active units on the airline’s network of 59 TempControl-certified handling locations.
The RAP e2 does not require dry ice or battery replacement – it uses rechargeable batteries to power its electric heating and compressor cooling system.
The Envirotainer RAP e2 supports any desired set temperature between zero and +25 Celsius and can power its system for 100 hours on a single charge in typical shipment ambient conditions.
