UPS launches midday express commit time to 35 countries

Supply chain company UPS has introduced UPS Worldwide Freight Midday (an addition to the UPS Worldwide Express Freight service), which offers a commit time of 12pm or 2pm from 71 origin countries to 35 destination countries.
The service provides guaranteed, time-definite delivery from door to door in 1 to 3 days for urgent, international palletised shipments weighing over 150 lbs, with customs brokerage included.
“We have customers in the industrial, auto, high-tech, and healthcare fields that need shipments fast and sometimes end of day just isn’t soon enough,” said John Miltenis, vice president international marketing at UPS. “Our new Midday service is unique in the market and provides our customers with a strong competitive advantage when timing is critical.”
In addition, the company has expanded its Worldwide Express Freight service to cover Lebanon, Latvia and Lithuania as well as adding outbound services to Saudi Arabia this year.
