Airest to take Europe’s first CRJ200 conversion

Aeronautical Engineers Inc. (AEI) has signed a contract to provide Miami-based aircraft supplier Regional One with a CRJ200 SF Freighter who will lease it to Estonia-based Airest.
Modification of the aircraft has already started at Commercial Jet’s Miami, Florida facility and it will be re-delivered to the carrier in April 2018.
Regional One will also provide a finance lease of the completed CRJ200 SF to Airest, which will be the first European operator for the CRJ200 SF. Airest plans to acquire and operate up to four of the type.
The modified plane will have space for eight 61.5” x 88” P1 to P8 containers or pallets.
