Fokker 50 converted freighter ready for take off

AircraftConversions has re-delivered the first converted full Fokker50Freighter to Amapola Flyg in Sweden, with the aircraft due to enter into full cargo operations next week.
A second Fokker50 will now start the freighter conversion process and is scheduled for re-delivery by the second quarter of this year.
Netherlands-headquartered AircraftConversions, sole manufacturer of the FAA and EASA certified and DGCA validated Fokker50Freighter, said that the second passenger to freighter conversion will take less time because of a recently completed forward cargo door modification.
The Fokker50Freighter  features a forward large cargo door of 2.34 m x 1.77 m that makes loading of “voluminous freight fast and simple” said AircraftConversions.
It added: “Fokker50Freighters have proven to be rugged high performance workhorses and offer a wealth of outstanding operational, environmental and economic advantages operating in almost any kind of terrain and under adverse arctic cold-weather conditions.
“The newly approved Pre Assembly Modification Package will allow Fokker50 fleet owners worldwide the required flexibility to realize their P2F conversions through authorized MRO organizations on proximal locations, substantially reducing aircraft modification downtime.
Fokker50Freighters are also operated by AsiaLinkCargo (Singapore) and MiniLiner (Italy).
