Turkish Cargo is launching scheduled Airbus A330 freighter flights to Johannesburg in South Africa and Madagascar, off the southeast coast of Africa.

South Africa sees the majority of its exports going to European and the Americas. These generally consist of machinery, electronic equipment, chemicals and automotive parts.

Madagascar exports a wide range of goods, mainly vanilla, tropical fruits and textile products, to European and the Americas, while live crabs and sea products are transported to the Asia Pacific.

Turkish Cargo, which has recently launched freighter flights to Sao Paulo and Paris, aims to be in the top five pharma carriers by 2023.
