SIXTY-SEVEN forwarders and six more airlines have joined IATA’s Multilateral e-AWB Agreement.

In its April status report, the association reveals a total of 867 forwarders and 69 carriers have signed the single standard document, allowing businesses to communicate electronically, rather than use a paper airwaybill.

Global e-AWB penetration reached 14.3 per cent last month – beating March’s record 200,000 e-AWB shipments.
