IAG Cargo and Exelsius to hold second cold chain training workshop in India

IAG Cargo and Exelsius, the international Cold Chain Management Consultancy, have announced that their GDP Academy training workshop will return to India, this time with a two-day workshop in Mumbai, following the success of a previous workshop in Hyderabad.
Taking place on the 8-9 February 2017, the Good Distribution Practice Academy combines classroom training in the correct handling of temperature sensitive pharmaceutical products, with a ‘live’ visit to an airport airside area.
Students will be able to witness the handling process at the CSC Handling Centre at Mumbai Airport as part of their certificated training in the correct handling of temperature-sensitive Pharmaceutical and Life Science products.
"In the global world of transporting and distributing temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical and life science products, compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) regulation is essential," said Tony Wright, CEO of Exelsius . 
He added: "As well as international guidance such as that from the EU and WHO, the Indian CDSCO and OPPI make it clear that all those involved in processing and handling these sensitive commodities must be properly trained."
