Management changes at Emirates

Dubai-headquartered Emirates Airline has made three personnel changes to key commercial and cargo management positions in the Middle East, effective June 1, 2017.
The carrier has appointed Abbas A Haji as vice president hub operations for SkyCargo in the UAE. His role encompasses the management of Emirates SkyCargo’s hub operations at both Al Maktoum International Airport and Dubai International Airport.
Elsewhere, Mohamed Khoory is the airline’s new manager Iran, and Sultan Alriyami will be driving Emirates’ “commercial priorities” forward in Jordan.
Thierry Antinori, the airline’s executive vice president and chief commercial officer, commented: “The Middle East’s market dynamics continually present us with unique challenges and opportunities. All three UAE Nationals who will be taking on new roles have a deep understanding of the business and operations at Emirates, from both the passenger and cargo side. We believe that this will strengthen our leadership team and will deliver significant benefits to maximise our commercial performance in the region.”
