Airports see strong Far and Middle East growth

Air freight through Asia-Pacific airports grew 9.3% and 10.6% in the Middle East during July, according to the latest figures from Airports Council International Asia-Pacific.
ACI-AP said that exports continued to drive strong air freight growth in the Asia-Pacific region during the month, with Hong Kong up 11.1%, Shanghai Pudong by 12.9% and Seoul Incheon 7.6%. In the Middle East, growth also recovered with Doha’s freight increasing14.5% and Dubai by +5%.
