CHANGI Airport’s air cargo traffic increased by 3.8 per cent year-on-year in January, buoyed by the Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations, which occurred 10 days earlier this year.

The facility handled 151,400 tonnes of freight, says a company statement.

Changi Airport Group has implemented a number of incentives for freighter airlines, such as reduced landing fees and rents.
