Liege recruits Cologne cargo director Franz Heuckeroth van Hessen

Liege Airport in Belgium is to appoint Cologne-Bonn cargo and sales director Franz Heuckeroth van Hessen to the new post of vice president air services from May 1.
Amsterdam-born van Hessen spent 11 years in the pharmaceutical sector before entering the airfreight industry with Copex Air in 1999 and then becoming Schiphol Airport’s cargo business development director in 2001. He joined Cologne Bonn Airport in 2008.
Liege Airport chief executive Luc Partoune said that Heuckeroth van Hessen has “a huge experience in the air cargo business and a large expertise in the logistics services and customer relationships," adding: "He has acquired along his career a deep respect and confidence all over the international cargo community.”
