Air France Cargo selects CHEP for Paris equipment repair contract

CHEP Aerospace Systems has added Air France Cargo to a list of recent contract awards.
The French carrier has selected the ULD management company to repair its fleet of cargo containers, pallets and horse boxes at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport and dollies at Paris Orly airport over the next three years.
CHEP’s existing relationship with Air France alliance partners KLM and Martinair in Amsterdam was cited by the airline as one factor in its selection, together with CHEP management software that can track repairs and inform the company on future ULD procurement and damage trends.
Air France’s decision now positions CHEP as a strategic maintenance and repair partner for the Air France KLM Group.
CHEP Aerospace Solutions president Ludwig Bertsch said: "We are delighted to be entering into a partnership with Air France Cargo together with our long-term local partner Aeronet Services.
“This builds upon the momentum of our recent contract wins with Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines and TAP Portugal, demonstrating that the strength of our network, service and systems is being recognised by the industry."
