Beti Ward: A pioneer in the US air cargo industry

Air Cargo News is sad to report the death of Beti Ward, the founder and chief executive of Pacific Air Cargo.
Beti, who passed away after a brief illness, was a pioneer in the US air cargo industry and a savvy lady in a man’s world.
She was a panelist at our Freighters World conference in Chicago last year, where she provided great industry insight.
Roger Hailey, editor of Air Cargo News, said: "Beti was a generous person who would always find time to listen and share her industry knowledge and experience. She will be greatly missed."
A profile of Beti appeared in the June 2017 edition of Air Cargo News and can be accessed by clicking here.
