Cargolux appoints new VP of flight operations

All-cargo airline Cargolux has appointed Jason Christopher Holt as the airline’s new executive vice president of flight operations to replace Marcel Funk, who earlier this year retired from the position.
British-national Holt is 52 years old and joins Cargolux from Easyjet Airlines where he held the position as head of Gatwick operations and operational strategy for the airline.
He has also occupied various management positions at Virgin Atlantic Airways, British Mediterranean Airways and Arik Air amongst others and  holds a UK Airline Transport pilot’s license.
Holt will start in his new position at Cargolux in the final quarter of 2015 and will also be a member of the Cargolux Executive Committee.
At the same time, Claude Zehren, who presently fills the role of chief pilot, has been appointed the deputy head of flight operations.
