DSV strengthens commercial team

Freight forwarder DSV has appointed Michael  Hansen as divisional chief commercial officer for air and sea and Wilbert Tholhuijsen for DSV Road. They join Meinderdjan Botman (DSV Solutions) and Jenny Purchase ( Sub Saharan Africa) in a team of four chief commercial officers as part of the DSV Global commercial organisation’s senior management team, led by global chief commercial officer René Falch Olesen.
Chief executive Jens Bjørn Andersen said the appointments would strengthen the ties between DSV’s global commercial organisation and the business, adding: “We want to continuously improve our performance in serving new and existing customers across DSV – and we hope this will be a significant step in that direction.”
To ensure that cross-divisional activities are fully considered, all country sales directors will have access to a divisional chief commercial officer.
