Riga Airport Supervisory Board nominates Ilona Līce as chairman

Ilona Līce, already a member of the airport’s board, has been nominated by the Supervisory Board of Riga Airport to be its new chairman.
However, the Latvian Ministry of Transport, as shareholder of Riga International Airport, has to approve the nomination.
Līce has been a member of the board at Riga since 2011.
She has mainly been responsible for matters related to the airport’s commercial activities, ensuring revenue growth from the airport’s business interests, premises and land, as well as overseeing the provision of ground handling services.
She has also, on occasion, stood in to perform the duties of the chairman.
