Toronto to host TIACA air cargo forum

TIACA’s 2018 Air Cargo Forum (ACF) will take place in Toronto, Canada, Secretary General Doug Brittin has confirmed.

The biennial ACF brings together supply chain decision makers from across the globe for three days of networking, discussion, and learning.

“We are excited to be bringing the event back to North America for 2018,” said Brittin.

The 2018 ACF will take place between 17-19 October at the Metro Toronto Convention Center.

Toronto Pearson airport is rated in the top 30 hubs worldwide for cargo activity with 1.2m sq ft of on airport warehouse space and with an estimated 150m potential customers within a day’s truck drive.

This week, TIACA is hosting its two-day Executive Summit and Annual General Meeting in Miami, where the focus is on supply chain strategies for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Legislators from across the globe are also taking part in a series of workshops and discussions at the event tackling issues that including impending new advance data regulations.

TIACA’s next ACF takes place in Paris, between October 26-28, 2016.
