One Question

Eugen Egetenmeir, managing director, Messe München, answers:
"WE feel that the show has become more Chinese this year, because more Chinese businesses are attending – in bigger numbers than before. In the past, the vast majority of exhibitors were international organisations. For example, Sinotrans – one of the biggest transportation and logistics companies in China – and China Post will participate for the first time this year. The Chinese logistics industry is participating with their key players. This, of course, is a sign. It also means more [Chinese networking] opportunities for international exhibitors. Also, a significant number of air cargo businesses have already registered for the event. For instance, Emirates SkyCargo is back. The airline had refrained from participating in the past two events. All of the carriers from the Middle East have now registered, including Saudi Cargo and Etihad Cargo. Turkish Airlines is also among the attendees, along with a number of major airports, like Hong Kong, Brussels, Liége and Munich."
