Dubai International cargo down as freighters switch hubs

Freight volumes at Dubai International (DXB) fell 3.1 per cent in 2014 over prior year to 2.36m tonnes, due to the shift of freighter operators to Al Maktoum International at Dubai World Central (DWC) earlier this year.
December’s freight volumes at DXB decreased by seven per cent to 203,000 tonnes.
