ABC adds new Atlanta flights

AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has added two new services to its North American route network with the launch of twice-weekly flights to Atlanta.
The new Boeing 747 freighter services, which commenced November 20, operate on Fridays and Sundays and will connect ABC’s global route network to Atlanta.
ABC senior vice president sales & marketing Robert van de Weg said: "With these new Atlanta flights, ABC continues to improve its offering on Asia-US lanes following the successful launch of Los Angeles earlier this year
"During the first 10 months of 2015, we have doubled our volumes on China-US routes."
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport aviation general manager Miguel Southwell said: “Growing air cargo is a top priority and is a critical factor in Atlanta’s logistics growth. ABC’s decision to launch its flights to Hartsfield-Jackson will increase our airport’s prominence as one of the main cargo hubs in North America.
"At the same time, it will provide shippers even greater connectivity to key markets throughout the world.”
The airline has been actively developing its presence in the US since it launched its Chicago flights back in 2011.
Since then, ABC has increased its network to include Dallas, Los Angeles, and now Atlanta.
The new route was launched just days after ABC took delivery of two new leased B747-8Fs.
