AEI to convert 737 for MNG

MNG Airlines of Turkey has appointed Aeronautical Engineers (AEI) to convert a B737-400SF passenger aircraft into a freighter. It will be MNG’s second conversion and is expected for delivery in May.The conversion and maintenance will be performed at AEI plant in Florida.Ahmet Berkmen, vice-chairman of MNG Airlines, said: “The decision to convert our second 737-400 with AEI was based in large part upon their ability to deliver what they promised on the first contract. Our current conversion project is proceeding ahead of schedule, under budget and is on track for an early delivery.
