AirBridgeCargo Airlines adds fifth B747-8F

AIRBRIDGECARGO AIRLINES (ABC), Russia’s largest international scheduled freight airline, has taken delivery of its fifth brand new B747-8F.
The new ‘plane, part of the carrier’s fleet modernisation stratagem, will be used on its existing route network linking Europe, Asia and the United States via its hub in Moscow.
AirBridgeCargo’s fleet consists of five B747-400ERFs (extended range freighters), three B747-400Fs, along with the five -8s.
Denis Ilin, executive president of AirBridgeCargo – part of the Volga-Dnepr Group – declares: “ABC has already experienced the outstanding payload and operating economics of the B747-8 family. We are really excited to receive our fifth 747-8 freighter.”
Marty Bentrott, vice-president of sales for Middle East, Russia and Central Asia, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, adds: “AirBridgeCargo is a valued customer that has built a very successful cargo business using B747Fs. We are confident ABC will maintain its impressive rate of growth as its fleet expands."
