Airline Management Group ceases trading

UK-based GSSA, Airline Management Group (AMG), has ceased trading, after the loss of several important customers had left them with just two small airline sales accounts.

AMG had once been a flagship company among UK GSAs, but its business deteriorated in the early 2000s, leading to a management buyout in late 2006.

Managing director, David Selby (pictured), set a “back to basics” philosophy as part of the restructuring process, but it subsequently failed to attract new airlines and the GSA stopped trading in mid-August.
