ANA and Hawaiian sign cargo deal

JAPAN’S All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Hawaiian Airlines have started a cargo code sharing agreement between Tokyo and Honolulu.

ANA started serving a daily Haneda-Honolulu service on 31 October last year while Hawaiian started the same route – using a Boeing 767-300ER – two weeks later on 17 November.

The code-sharing agreement includes cargo shipped directly between Tokyo Haneda and Honolulu, but is also aiming to pull in in-direct traffic from other Japanese, Asian and US cities.

The two airlines have agreed to expand their alliance through additional bilateral cooperation in the future.
