Azerbaijan Airlines enters freighter market

AZERBAIJAN Airlines (AA) has always relied on belly capacity to ship goods, but this year the carrier will begin operating its first freighters.
AA will take receipt of two 767s-300Fs later in 2012 as it expands into the Middle East with the launch of a flight from Baku (Azerbaijan) to Doha (Qatar).
Its fleet consists of 21 aircraft. A further 767-300ER is due to be delivered this year and two 787-8s in 2014.
