Big contracts bring fixed costs to ECS

THERE is an old saying: “Be careful what you wish for, because you will probably get it”. And for the large global GSA groups such as ECS, winning the kind of large airline contracts they were set up to attract creates some new challenges of its own.

As Adrien Thominet (right), general manager of ECS notes, larger airlines outsourcing a substantial chunk of their business to a GSA tend to want dedicated staff to work on their accounts and other kinds of commitments.
