Cargolux increases central Asian connections

All-freighter airline Cargolux has operated its first flight to Turkmenbashi Airport in Turkmenistan. The Luxembourg carrier is flying twice a week from its home base and twice from Hong Kong.
Turkmenbashi is its fifth destination in central Asia, together with Baku, Novosibirsk, Almaty and Tbilisi.
Cargolux will also cooperate with Turkmenistan Airlines to increase destinations and improve its penetration of neighbouring countries such as Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, via the modern hub airport at Turkmenbashi.
