Centurion promises Latin link to Schiphol

Miami-based freighter operator Centurion Cargo is promising a four-times-a-week service from the US and Latin America to Amsterdam Schiphol from February 19. The route will be operated by 747-400 nose-loading freighters.
Founded in 1985 as Challenge Air Cargo – it changed its name in 2001 – Centurion operates a fleet of ten MD-11F and three 747-400ERF freighters.
It describes itself as one of the leading cargo airlines operating to and from Latin America and number one in the handling of live animals and perishable goods. It says its 51,000sq m Miami warehouse is by far the largest privately owned all cargo airline facility in North America.
