China Eastern conversions wrapped up

CHINA Eastern Airlines took delivery of the third of its three Airbus A300-600Fs at EADS EFW’s facility in Dresden, Germany.
The airframe was formerly operated by the Chinese airline as a passenger aircraft. The conversion into freighter configuration started in late September 2007.
“With three converted A300-600 freighter aircraft implemented to its fleet,
China Eastern will perfectly meet the increasing needs of the prospering
Chinese airfreight market, one of the fastest growing markets worldwide”, said Dr Andreas Sperl, President and chief executive officer of EADS EFW.
As of today, EADS has delivered a total of 155 converted freighter aircraft to almost 30 customers worldwide.
