Dünnwald becomes chief executive of DHL Parcel Germany and Europe

Achim Dünnwald is the new chief executive of DHL Parcel, with overall responsibility for the German and European parcel business of Deutsche Post DHL Group.
In addition, he will remain responsible for the area of Mobility, which comprises the Postbus and Post Reisen business segments. As chief executive of DHL Parcel, Dünnwald will also serve on the Executive Committee of PeP (Post, e-Commerce and Parcel).
Dünnwald has been at Deutsche Post DHL Group since 2013, serving as the chief executive of Mail Communication, Mail International.
He joined the group after working at the McKinsey consulting firm, where he was a partner, member of the German management and head of the global post, express, parcel industry group.
Ole Nordhoff, head of business customers at DHL Parcel since 2013, will be responsible for the German parcel business as executive vice president and will serve as a member of the DHL Paket management. He will report directly to Dünnwald.
