Emirates completes the 777F trio

EMIRATES SkyCargo is to operate its third new 777F three times a week to São Paulo (Brazil).

“Even in an uncertain global economy, our commitment to facilitating international trade remains strong,” Tim Clark, president of Emirates Airline, said.

During the design and development of the 777F, Emirates worked closely with Boeing in optimising the main deck floor layout. It features a wide main deck cargo door for easier uplift of oversized shipments.

SkyCargo introduced its first 777F in March 2009.

The 777F provides long-range flying capacity of over 17 hours without refuelling, capability of carrying up to 103 tonnes of cargo. In December 2010, the carrier operated its longest ever non-stop flight totalling 17.5 hours from Sydney (Australia) to New York (US) on the aircraft.
