Emirates’ new Vietnam cargo service

EMIRATES SkyCargo’s new daily passenger service to Vietnam will enable the airline’s cargo division to offer some 240 metric tonnes of weekly belly-hold capacity, the company reveals.
The flights between Ho Chi Minh and Dubai (UAE) are due to get under way from 4 June.
Since 2005, Emirates has partnered with other airlines in cargo services from the city.
A further 80 tonnes of cargo capacity will be added in October when a Boeing 777-300ER enters service on the route, replacing an Airbus 330-200, the company says.
Ram Menen, Emirates’ divisional senior vice-president of cargo, noted that Vietnam “is enjoying a period of growth” and the service will “build on this momentum”.
