Emirates SkyCargo flies to Oz

EMIRATES SkyCargo is on a mission to meet cargo demand at the corners of the earth. The Middle Eastern carrier will operate its first dedicated weekly freight service to Australia from 12 September.

SkyCargo will ship freight on its new fleet of 777 freighters on the Dubai (UAE)-Singapore-Sydney (Australia)-Hong Kong (China)-Dubai route.

In June the airline unveiled plans to begin a new freighter service to the furthest point north on its network to St Petersburg (Russia).

In December 2010 SkyCargo operated its longest ever non-stop flight totalling 17.5 hours from Sydney to New York (US) on a 777F.
