Emirates to launch Boston service

EMIRATES Airline is expanding its transatlantic belly cargo offering with services to Boston in the USA.
Daily flights from the carrier’s Dubai hub to Boston Logan International Airport will be serviced by a passenger B777-200LR.
It is the airline’s eighth route into the United States, its ninth into North America and twelfth into the wider Americas.
HRH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Emirates’ chairman and chief executive, enthuses: “Our Boston service will further develop this exciting gateway into the north-eastern United States.
“We believe the time is right to further boost our US operations, while stimulating trade to and from the state of Massachusetts and the wider New England region.”
Thomas Glynn, chief executive of Massport (Massachusetts Port Authority), says the new partnership with Emirates helps expand the global reach of Boston and Logan by connecting New England with new markets. “Emirates offers seamless connections from Dubai to dozens of destinations in the Middle East, India, East Africa and Southeast Asia,” he ventures.
