Emirates wins top cargo award

EMIRATES is this year’s prestigious winner of the title Cargo Airline of the Year.
Ram Menen, divisional senior vice-president, cargo at Emirates (far right) accepted the award from Roger Olsson of DHL, which sponsored the award, (below with his wife Bodil) and from host and former MP, Gyles Brandreth (right). The awards themselves attracted the great and the good of the airfreight industry for an evening of networking and entertainment.
The awards (dubbed the industry ‘Oscars’) were voted for by thousands of freight forwarders from over 90 different countries around the world. They set the industry standard by being the sole awards exclusively voted for by customers. In addition, all votes and the voting system were fully audited by BIFA.
