FedEx Express serves South Korea direct

IN a bid to enhance trade between the US and South Korea, FedEx Express has begun a non-stop service from Memphis to Seoul.
The carrier will use one of its 12 777Fs on the route four times a week.
US exports to South Korea last year were US$38.8 billion, a 35 per cent increase over 2009, and the U.S. International Trade Commission projects they will increase by nearly $11 billion a year with approval of a pending US-Korea Free Trade Agreement.
The Memphis-Seoul flights enable FedEx to move packages from the US, Canada and some Latin American markets to Seoul in two to three business days.
