Fokker freighters arrive in Colorado

THE first of an order for five Fokker50Freighter conversions was delivered to MiniLiner of Bergamo, Italy at Centennial Airport, Denver, Colorado, USA.
“A dispatch reliability of almost 100 per cent on the freighter conversion sofar, the fit in the six to eight metric tonne cargo segment with 60 cubic m, with a loadability up to 488kgs per m2 and with a good payload/range capability has made the Fokker50Freighter already a proven workhorse in our fleet,” said Guiseppe Berlusconi, chief executive officer of MiniLiner.
The next MiniLiner Fokker50 in passenger configuration will enter the freight conversion process in February 2009 at AircraftConversion’s new Installation Center at Front Range Airport, Denver, Colorado, US.
