Frankfurt community website gets a refresh

The Air Cargo Community Frankfurt’s internet presence now has a fresh new look (www.FRA-fr8.com).
The new website now provides full details of companies, institutions and organisations and is geared to an international audience, being completely bilingual in German and English. It now has a modern layout and a responsive design, so that its contents can be easily read on mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets.
Executive director of the Air Cargo Community Frankfurt, Joachim von Winning, said that, as well as providing information, a prime function of the new site was “to generate curiosity – about the community, about its members and about the entire location. Frankfurt Airport has a whole series of strengths and special services, which are valued by shippers, freight forwarders and airlines all over the world.”
Von Winning added that the encouragingly high number of visitors to the page in the past few weeks was also an indication of the high level of interest in the Community and its work inside and outside the logistics industry.
The Frankfurt’s Air Cargo Community has 33 members, representing the entire air cargo process chain, and committed to keeping the airport as Europe’s number one cargo hub. Competence teams focus on the optimisation of procedures and processes, marketing and temperature-controlled transport, in particular, on the transport of pharmaceuticals.
