Frankfurt’s September cargo surge

Frankfurt Airport’s (FRA) said that the "ongoing strong growth of the global economy" drove a 4.1% increase in September 2017’s cargo throughput (airfreight and airmail), for the tenth consecutive month, to 187,708 tonnes.
During the January-to-September 2017 period, Frankfurt’s cargo volumes grew by 4.7% to some 1.7m tonnes in the first nine months of the year.
