IAG Cargo boosts London and Shanghai service

A NEW B777 passenger service between London Heathrow and Shanghai (Pudong) is good news for IAG Cargo customers.
An increase from six to seven flights a week on the route equates to a potential additional capacity of 42 tonnes.
The news follows an announcement earlier in the year that IAG Cargo is offering capacity on a thrice-weekly service operating between Heathrow and Chengdu in south-west China.
John Cheetham, Asia Pacific regional commercial manager for IAG Cargo, comments: “Our aim as a cargo carrier is to help facilitate global trade.
“At present a significant proportion of this trade is centred on the high growth market of China, so we are delighted to be able to offer additional capacity and increased availability on our Shanghai route.”
