Janel appointments aim high

JANEL World Trade, integrated freight logistics provider, has appointed two high-level sales people to increase revenue in 2009 by US$15 million.

Frank Zambuto will serve as the new national sales manager in Chicago. He has more than 11 years of freight forwarding experience and will help develop emerging growth markets, especially in southeast Asia. Prior to Janel, Zambuto was station master midwest for Airgate International in Chicago.

Craig Raucher will be executive salesman for the New York tri-state area. Raucher has more than 25 years of freight forwarding experience with DHL Airways and Skynet Worldwide Express.

Janel CEO, James Jannello, said: “We are very pleased to have such high calibre professionals as Frank and Craig join our sales team. We estimate that together they will add $10 million to $15 million to our projected gross earnings for the coming year, pushing our revenues for fiscal year 2009 to approximately $100 million.”
