Kruger to lead Toll forward
08 / 08 / 2011
TOLL Holdings has appointed its chief financial officer (CFO), Brian Kruger (right), as its new managing director. Kruger will replace Paul Little, who will remain on the board as a non-executive director, on 1 January 2012.
Kruger previously worked for mining company BHP and Bluescope before joining Toll two years ago.
Toll’s chairman, Ray Horsburgh, said Kruger’s management style has made him well-regarded within Toll. “He has an outstanding business pedigree and will be a highly capable successor to Paul,” he added.
Little described Kruger as a “superb executive” and “a particularly effective leader of people”.
A search for a new CFO will begin shortly and in the meantime Grant Devonport, head of finance for the global resources division, will act in the role from 1 September.
