Martinair Cargo transport white rhinos

ON 19 December, Martinair Cargo carried out a unique operation by flying four white rhino’s from Prague to Nairobi using a Boeing 747-400BCF.The rhinos were escorted by the world’s most experienced rhino vet, Pete Morkel. He has a record of accompanying more than 500 rhinos during transport. He was assisted by four experienced rhino caretakers.A Martinair Cargo loadmaster also accompanied this special flight to make sure the loading and offloading was done in the safest way.
