MNG selects CHAMP solution for ACAS requirements

Turkey’s MNG Airlines has become the launch customer of Luxembourg-headquartered CHAMP Cargosystems’ new security compliance service, Traxon Global Security (TGS), to meet the requirements of ACAS – the pre-load security filing programme currently piloting in the US.
TGS is “specifically designed to support multiple Pre-Loading Advance Cargo Information (PLACI) schemes from the same platform delivering a consistent and complete solution for security compliance”, CHAMP said.
Through TGS, carriers and forwarders can use existing industry standard FWB/XFWB and FHL/XFZB messaging, to submit the required data to ACAS.
Furthermore: “The collaborative workflow model ensures the handling of the data required for security screening is optimised, reducing any potential interruptions to the cargo operations to an absolute minimum,” according to CHAMP.
Had of sales – distribution services Laurent Jossa added: “Safety and security are the most important demands for traders in the air logistics supply chain. Our aim is to ensure that MNG, and indeed, future TGS customers are completely satisfied with the service we can bring to support continually compliant operations into the US and beyond.”
MNG also uses the IT provider’s Traxon Global Customs solution for advance electronic customs reporting in more than 50 countries.
