In response to industry pessimism about the Chinese economic outlook
“If you visit the Chinese hinterland, as I have just done, then you will still see hundreds of cranes and thousands of people on view. 
The hinterland of China is still growing and at rates above the  average of China overall, which is between 5% and 7%. 
The average growth rates in the Chinese hinterland are higher than those of Shanghai and the coastal cities.”
