New freight facility for Canberra

The new Australian air Express freight facility is near completion at Canberra airport. Scheduled for completion in April 2009, the new freight facility cost AUS$6 million.
Executive director, Tom Snow, said: “When completed, we believe this new facility will act as a catalyst for the gradual development of increased freight activity here in Canberra, which in turn will generate more economic activity and more jobs for the region.”
“We are very proud to be associated with Australian air Express and look forward to a long and rewarding relationship,” Snow said.
