NordicGSA buys Cubic

FROM 1 February, 2009 NordicGSA has taken over Cubic Air Cargo from SAS Cargo Group. The acquisition includes Cubic Air Cargo’s staff and cargo sales activities for foreign airlines in the Nordic and Baltic areas.

“The implementation of Core SAS and the S11 strategy has led to increased focus on core business in all group subsidiaries,” said Jimmy Kjaersvold, SAS Cargo’s vice-president for cargo related business. “Acting as a general sales agent for foreign airlines is not part of SAS Cargo Group’s core business and Cubic Air Cargo has consequently been sold to an industrial investor.

“We hope and trust that the integration between Cubic Air Cargo and NordicGSA will ensure the continued focus on and development of this business area to the mutual benefit of Cubic Air Cargo’s customers, employees and new owners.”
