Panalpina appoints new Panprojects head

PANALPINA has made Chris Kent the new global head of Panprojects, a wholly owned Panalpina subsidiary.

Kent was previously managing Panprojects UK as divisional director where he then became head of Panprojects Northwest Europe and a member of the Global Panprojects Management and Steering Committee.

“I am pleased that we could recruit an internal personality for this key position,” said chief executive officer Monika Ribar. “We still see a lot of potential for profitable growth in this sector and will therefore continue to invest in Panprojects’ vigour and know-how,” she added.

Former Panprojects head, Heinz Zech, has decided to “pursue new professional challenges outside of the Panalpina Group”.
