TOLL Global Forwarding has appointed Marinus Uleman (pictured) as managing director, the Netherlands. Uleman joined Toll’s predecessor Baltrans in 2005 along with other colleagues from TNT Freight Management. Most recently he was branch manager of Toll’s Rotterdam office.

Logistics firm SBS Worldwide has appointed Michael Mohan as UK airfreight general manager. He has more than 30 years’ industry experience, having worked for freight forwarders including Ceva Logistics, Kuehne + Nagel and Schenker.

Peter Dolara is retiring on 30 June as American Airline’s senior vice-president (VP) in Miami, as the airline’s parent company cuts its leadership to 10 from 14. Dolara helped develop Miami International Airport into the airline’s second-biggest hub. He will be replaced by Art Torno, currently VP for American in New York.

Robert Erni is to become the new chief financial officer of Panalpina and Ferdinand Kurt is to become the new regional chef executive officer for the Americas. Both have an extensive track record in the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
